This Sheated thermocouple has a custom conical measuring tip. The sensor can be inserted e.g. into cooling water pipes to provide an additional measuring point. The tip can be fixed with cable ties. The temperature range of the thermocouple lies betweeen -40 and +300 °C. We manufacture according to your individual needs. Wherever a simple solution is subsequently – or deliberately – sought to create an additional measuring point. The hose introduces a small amount of heat-dissipating mass into the measuring circuit to ensure accurate and fast measurement. Materials include Inconel or stainless steel. The overall length of the insertion sensor is freely selectable and limited by the fixing plate. Usual lengths are between 8 and 20 mm – but also adaptable to much larger hoses. Cable and plug can be freely configured and are typically manufatured in PTFE with a mini plug.
