Your tasks
As a precision mechanic, you will be responsible for the precise manufacture of components for precision mechanical devices.
Production: You will manufacture precision components for various industrial sectors, either using computer-aided techniques or manually.
Assembly: You will assemble and install components and devices, including measuring and control components, and ensure that they are operated and adjusted correctly.
Quality inspection: You will monitor work processes, evaluate results and ensure product quality.
Your qualities
A good technical and scientific understanding and an affinity for computers are prerequisites for a career as a precision mechanic. Diligence is also important.
