Your tasks

As a precision mechanic, you will be responsible for the precise manufacture of components for precision mechanical devices.

Production: You will manufacture precision components for various industrial sectors, either using computer-aided techniques or manually.
Assembly: You will assemble and install components and devices, including measuring and control components, and ensure that they are operated and adjusted correctly.
Quality inspection: You will monitor work processes, evaluate results and ensure product quality.

 

Your qualities

A good technical and scientific understanding and an affinity for computers are prerequisites for a career as a precision mechanic. Diligence is also important.

In this position, you will mainly work on manual lathes and milling machines, carry out soldering and welding work and produce individual parts for prototyping. You will also assemble modules and work closely with our CNC production and manual assembly departments.

You should bring along:

  • Successfully completed training as a precision mechanic
  • Experience with manual lathes and component assembly
  • Good knowledge of German, ability to work in a team and structured way of working

We’re an owner-managed family business with over 125 years of success in measurement technology. We are looking for an experienced CNC technician/specialist to join our team.

In this position, you will mainly work on manual lathes and milling machines, carry out soldering and welding work and produce individual parts for prototyping. You will also assemble modules and work closely with our CNC production and manual assembly departments.

You should bring along:

  • Successfully completed training in a metalworking profession
  • At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the production and programming of machine tools
  • Familiarity with Siemens 820 and 840D machine controls, as well as Shop-Turn and Shop-Mill
  • Ability to operate several machines simultaneously
  • Good German language skills, ability to work in a team and structured way of working
